When Can SHE Expect a Final Decision?

I thought Charles was the one awaiting a final decision?  Who is working for whom?

Dear Rene,

I am writing to follow up on my telephone messages to you earlier this month and to thank you for investigating the unpermitted streamside construction at Hawkins Rd, a matter we have been tracking since January of 2010.

I understand that you have received two wetland reports from the landowner, the first concluding that a recently-constructed building is in a wetland buffer and the second determining that there are no wetlands in the vicinity of the building. I also understand that a representative from the Department of Ecology has reviewed both wetland reports and has let the County know that the second report was performed incorrectly. In light of that information, and out of fairness to those San Juan County residents who ask that the planning department to enforce its rules with all residents, including those who apply for permits before construction, I presume that the County will require the landowner to address wetland impacts.

Can you tell me when I can expect a final decision from the County and who at the County will be issuing this decision?

Sincerely,

Stephanie
